Tell your MP to support the Climate Change Bill
An Early Day Motion (which is like a parliamentary petition that MPs can add their name to) has been tabled on the Climate Change Bill.
It is EDM 736. It welcomes the Bill, but points out that:
- the United Nations Development Programmes has said that the targets are not ambitious enough, and
- that leaving out international aviation and shipping weaken the Bill considerably.
It calls for the Bill to be amended.
Pleaseask your MP to sign the EDM so we get a strong and effective Climate Change Bill.
