Food is travelling further than ever, often hundreds of miles from where it was produced to where is was consumed. Small businesses, family farms, local abattoirs are all going out of business as a result.

Our desire to have asparagus and tomatoes out of season means we are having a huge impact on our climate.

The spare processing power of your computer can be used by scientists monitoring changes in air temperature, sea temperature, cloud cover and other climatic variables.

Four days before the coming into force of the KyotoTreaty (on 16th February), Cardiff Friends of the Earth along with members from other local groups, traveled to Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London. We
joined with the hundreds of others arriving from all over the country for the KyotoTreaty Climate March.
