British bees are vital to our food supply and economy. But their numbers have declined dramatically.

Friends of the Earth are launching The Bee Cause so that together we can help save British bees.

Without bees it would cost UK farmers £1.8 billion a year to hand-pollinate their crops and that would push up our food prices.

Commonwealth Games threatens Sri Lanka wilderness

Sri Lanka is bidding to host the Commonwealth Games in 2018. The area they propose to build the stadia is currently home to several species of endangered wildlife. Call on the government to withdraw their disastrous bid.

Sri Lanka could get more unsustainable development due to the government's Hambantota 2018 Commonwealth Games proposal.

Please join Friends of the Earth Czech Republic in calling on their government to abandon plans to cut down large areas of previously protected forest rich in biodiversity and home to endangered wildlife.
